Welcome to the website for the Hull & District Table Tennis Association
Hull & District Table Tennis Association was founded in 1927 as the Hull & East Riding Table Tennis Association by John Wilkinson from Smith & Nephews in the City. It reached its’ peak in 1977 when the World Championships came to Birmingham. During that season we had 14 Divisions each with 14 teams, and in those days we had four players per side – over 1000 registered members.
Now, 96 years on, we have 4 divisions, hopefully with 44 teams which comprise of three players per side, total members around the 250 mark.
We will endeavour to keep the website as up to date as possible, if you have any articles you would like posting or ideas to improve the site please contact us
